April is here and it's time to delve into The Conspiracy Iceberg. Born on the /x/ paranormal subreddit of 4chan The Conspiracy Iceberg collect several conspiracies and compiles them into a tier system on an iceberg. Since most of our listeners are pretty knowledgeable about the paranormal we decided to start on Tier 3. You can still see the sky and the top of the iceberg, but these conspiracies start getting pretty out there.
Marcus and Vic delve into conspiracy theories involving string theory, illuminati blood banks, and even one about The French government releasing venomous snakes into the wild. They explore each conspiracy and challenge the basis for some and give possible evidence of others. This is going to be a great month delving into weird and horrifying possibilities of our reality.

In this episode Marcus and Vic take a cryptid quiz and every time they get an incorrect answer the loser has to take a shot of ever increasing spicy hot sauce. Vic and Marcus discuss Flying Humanoids and break down some similarities among the stories. Vic makes the case how they might be "spectral entities". Our hosts discuss the biology of the creatures and how that throws a monkey wrench into the discussion.
In the 2nd half of the episode Marcus and Vic discuss "The Dark Forest Theory" an explanation put forth by Chinese science fiction writer Liu Cixin as an explanation for why we haven't encountered aliens in our galaxy. The idea explores the notion maybe for their own survival every alien species keeps to themselves in the vast dark of space.

SALUTATIONS SHADES! Marcus is off to vacation for the next two weeks so before he heads out our hosts got together for a bonus episode to hold you over until he gets back. Marcus and Vic realized there might be more to the Skinwalker Ranch story than meets the eye since their last episode. They discuss all the strange bad luck they had after recording their last episode. The night before recording this Marcus threw out all his old notes when he discovered accounts of "ominous black boxes" at the ranch.
Ominous black boxes are these square black boxes reported by alien contactees that have strange effects on Bigfoot. Marcus and Vic discuss how the stories surrounding ominous black boxes could be the missing link as to why Robert Bigelow brought in a team of scientists to the ranch. Could this connection be what finally brings some of their thoughts on Skinwalkers full circle? Listen to find out!

There are several instances in our culture in which large groups of individuals believe a particular details about an event or individual which turn out to be untrue. These can be subtle details such as "does the man in the Monopoly game have a monocle?" These can also be very important history details such as did Nelson Mandela die in prison or much later in life? These instances have been dubbed "The Mandela Effect".
Coined in 2010 by paranormal consultant Fiona Broome the phenomena has become very popular on the internet of people giving examples of the Mandela Effect. The Philadelphia Experiment was a military conspiracy code named “Project Rainbow” by the US Navy at the Philadelphia Navel Yard on October 28, 1943. The experiment involved the Destroyer Escort Ship SS Eldridge in an attempt to turn the ship “Invisible” to both the naked eyed and enemy radar. Through out the course of the experiments several things go wrong involving strange side effects to the crew and allegedly causing the ship to teleport across the country!
Listen as our hosts break down the story of the The Philadelphia Experiment and point out strange aspects of the story others over look. Through out history different cultures have reported magical means by which a person would transform into an animal. Often using pelts of animals and enacting various magical rights the practitioner metaphorically or sometimes literally shifts their form. In the American southwest the Navajo lore of the Skinwalker holds a special place in this kind of folklore.
